The Battle Against Injustice

Damage. Love. Heartbreak. Loss. They were emotions a large number of in Nazis had to cope with, often as well. Markus Zusak's novel The Book Thief perfectly demonstrates the struggles and injustices these people were required to deal with on a regular basis. The new follows Liesel Meminger, a girl living with foster father and mother, Hans and Rosa Hubermann, in fictional Molching, Germany during World War II. She became best friends with Rudy Steiner. One day a young, Jewish man named Max Vandenberg showed up at their home begging Hans and Rosa to hide him. They arranged because Max's father was Hans' outdated friend. Despite the fact that Liesel dreaded Max to start with, she later becomes very close to him creating a particular bond. 1 day, Hans provided a Jewish man bread and as a consequence, Max needed to leave pertaining to both his and their security. After this, Liesel began composing her existence story. 1 night, whilst in her basement, the road the Hubermanns lived upon was bombed, killing everybody except Liesel. Everyone living through those occasions had to withstand many horrible injustices, yet , while some lay down and let the injustices go untouched, others stood up and fought for alter. The most effective of these fighters was Liesel Meminger. Liesel's very long battle against injustices started when the lady stole a book from the ashes after the book burning for Hitler's birthday. During the book burning, she began to dislike the Nazi party, noticing what the Fuhurer was aiming to do wasn't humane and that he wasn't as effective as he made him self out to always be during his speeches. By simply stealing the book, Liesel defied and began wondering Hitler's power while demonstrating to himself that the lady wouldn't offer into what he stated. She under no circumstances gave in to his command, even when moments became hard, and it would have been least complicated to give in to his ideology.
